The 3Win8 frame is easy to spot. A blue bar runs across the top of every game with a chip icon and your balance on the left, a scrolling ticker of other players' jackpot wins in the middle, and BACK, help and settings buttons on the right. Slots put three boxes under that bar: MINOR, RANDOM JACKPOT and MAJOR, each showing a running total.

The slots

Most of the list is 5-reel video slots with numbered line markers down both sides and a bottom row of LINES, BET, BET WIN and spin controls. Ronin, above, has cherry blossom and a Japanese castle round a 20-line grid. Safari Heat and Panther Moon are the familiar 15-line animal slots, Indian Myth has an elephant wild that fills reel 3, and Lotto Madness turns up in the ticker in one of the old shots. Penguin Vacation adds a fishing bonus, Orient Express has tiger wilds and a ship multiplier, and Japan Fortune puts a sumo wrestler on reel 3.

The old overview also showed Coyote Cash, Fa Da Chai, Garden Tour, Great Blue, Great China (Zong Hua Zhi Zui) and Iceland. We don't have pages for those on 3Win8, but the jackpot boxes and line markers look the same on each.

Local tables

This is where 3Win8 is more interesting than most. Belangkai, the traditional Malaysian guessing game, gets a square board with a symbol on each side (a fish, a prawn, a flower and a horseshoe crab), 3.90 on the straight bets and 1.95 or 2.90 on the combinations.

Fish Prawn Crab is the dice version with six pictures: fish, prawn, gourd, coin, crab and rooster. It pays 1:1 on one dice, 2:1 on two and 3:1 on three, with 5:1 on two-dice pairs, 30:1 on any triple and 180:1 on a specific one.

Bola Tangkas is five-card video poker with a pay table running from Ace Pair up to Royal Flush and a bet of 0.10 in the screenshot. There's a card baccarat table too.

The fishing room

3Win8 has a shooting game as well, with seats at each edge of a green reef, a countdown on the empty ones and a cannon set at 0.20 in the shot. It's the same idea as Ocean King on other apps: pick a cannon size and fire at the fish swimming past, and every shot costs credit.

IDs, top-ups and withdrawals

There's no sign-up inside 3Win8. An agent creates your ID and password, and you top up by sending money through bank transfer, DuitNow or an e-wallet to the account they name. They load the credit, and when you want to cash out they take the credit off and pay your bank. The old page talked up bonuses as a way to come out ahead. Bonuses come with turnover rules, and they don't change the odds.

Your 3Win8 balance won't show up on any other app. Screenshot every transfer, start small and test a withdrawal early. Never share your banking password or a TAC.

Getting it on your phone

3Win8 was never in Google Play or the App Store. The 3Win8 install notes explain what the Android and iPhone versions ask you to allow. All twenty game pages are on the 3Win8 game list, and the other apps are on the app overview page. If you still want an ID, the partner page can set one up.

Questions people ask

Is 3Win8 the same as 918Kiss?

No. The old page called it the closest competitor to SCR888, the old name of 918Kiss, and several slots appear on both, but it's a separate app with its own IDs, its own balance and a different screen layout.

What is the ticker at the top of 3Win8 games?

A scrolling line of recent jackpot wins, like 'Player xxxxx in Garden won JACKPOT'. The player IDs are partly hidden by the app, and we've blurred them fully in our pictures. It shows other people's wins, not your odds.

Is there a free 3Win8 ID?

The old page offered free trial IDs as a sign-up hook. A free ID with no credit on it doesn't let you play for money, and anyone offering credit for nothing still wants a top-up later. We don't hand out IDs.
