Penguin Vacation, an ice-fishing slot with stacked penguins

Everything in Penguin Vacation is frozen. The card letters have snow on top, the fish is an ice lolly, and the background is a snowstorm. The star is a penguin who slides onto the reels in stacks.

The penguin and the ice hole

The penguin is the wild. It's stacked on every reel, replaces all symbols except the scatter, and doubles a win when it substitutes. Five on a line pay 10,000. The scatter is a round fishing hole cut in the ice with a float bobbing in it. It pays anywhere, 2, 5, 20 or 500 times the bet for two to five.

Three or more scatters start the Fishing Bonus. You begin with 8 free games and a x2 multiplier, then fish twice. Each catch adds either extra free games or a bigger multiplier, which is how the help screen gets to "up to 33 free games" and "up to x15". Three more scatters during the free games add another 15 at the same multiplier, and there's no limit on how often that can happen.

Lines and Bet each have minus and plus buttons, so 1 to 20 lines. Our screens show 20 lines at 0.10 (2.00) and 5 lines at 0.04 (0.20). After a win, Auto turns into Gamble. Minor, Random Jackpot and Major sit above the reels. The old page described a red-or-black card gamble; we don't have a screenshot of it.
