The old write-up for Pay Dirt mentioned "Texas Tea" and told readers that players in the US and Canada could play for real money, which was no use to anyone in Malaysia. The game is a cartoon gold rush. A prospector with a pickaxe, a bandit with a red bandana and a pistol, a pack donkey and a dog with a gold nugget in its teeth share the reels with lanterns, gold pans, dynamite crates, a loaded mine cart and a pickaxe.
Rules from the help screen
The gold nugget is the wild, and it appears grouped on reels 2 and 4, so you'll see it in stacks rather than one at a time. It replaces everything but the scatter and triples any prize it's part of. The scatter is a wooden sign reading "Paydirt", paying 2, 20 or 200 times the total bet for three, four or five, wherever they land.
A few other rules are printed on the same page. Only the highest win on each line counts, wins on different lines are added, scatter wins are added to line wins, and the most you can win on one paid spin is 50,000 times the line bet. A progressive jackpot can drop at random at the end of any game.
Bets

Where do the wilds land in Pay Dirt?
The gold nugget wild appears in groups on reels 2 and 4 during normal games. It substitutes for everything except the Paydirt sign and triples the prize when it's part of a win.
Does Pay Dirt have a progressive jackpot?
The help screen says a progressive jackpot can be won at random at the end of any game and is added to other wins. You can't choose to play for it, it just happens or it doesn't.
