Southern Fortune Lion, a classic three-reeler with a lion dance cast
Three reels, one payline and the whole lion dance troupe: the lion head, the laughing Buddha mask, cymbals, a drum and firecrackers.
Most Live22 slots in our set are busy five-reel games with jackpot meters. Southern Fortune Lion goes the other way. It looks like a cabinet from a land casino: three reels, one payline, a big round red SPIN button and light strips glowing down both sides.
The lion dance troupe
Every symbol belongs to a lion dance. There's the lion head itself, grey and white with a red mouth, and the round smiling Buddha mask that leads the lion. The musicians' kit is there too: brass cymbals with red ribbons and a green drum painted with the character for spring. Red firecrackers and a red diamond card with the gold Fa character, the one for prosperity, complete the set.
Betting
The panel is simple. Plus and minus change the total bet, which reads 100 in both screens, and there are Max Bet, Auto Spin and Fast buttons. Under it sits a Bet Value strip with x1, x2 and x3, set to x1 each time. The spins shown paid 100 and 500. In both, the reels stopped with symbols just above and below the line, and we don't have the pay table that would explain how those wins were counted.
