The reels
It's a five-reel grid with four rows inside a red and gold lattice frame. The two portrait symbols are a young samurai with a topknot and headband on a green tile, and a geisha with red flowers in her hair on a purple one. A red and gold kabuto, the horned samurai helmet, is the special piece. The letters A, K, Q, J and 10 come in pink, orange, gold, blue and red with a leaf pattern.
Orange paper lanterns run down both sides numbered 1 to 9, one per line. The first screen shows a total bet of 180, the other two a bet of 9, one per line.
The helmet at work
The two small wins in our set both lean on the helmet. On line 9, two orange Ks and the helmet on reel 3 paid 5. On line 6 the helmet started the line on reel 1 with two red 10s after it, and paid 5 again.

Nine. Orange paper lanterns down both sides of the frame are numbered 1 to 9 in a mixed order, which is where each line starts and ends.
What does the red helmet do?
It fills in for other symbols. In one screen it made K, K, helmet pay on line 9, and in another helmet, 10, 10 paid on line 6. That's how a wild behaves, although the screens never call it one.
How is the jackpot game triggered?
The message on the first screen says 2 jackpot symbols trigger the jackpot game. The four meters, Grand, Major, Minor and Mini, run across the top.
