Golden Rooster is a rooster-themed slot, a Chinese New Year good-luck game, and not a cockfighting game. The white rooster with a red comb sits in a round frame alongside gold coins, jade, silver ingots and strings of firecrackers. The old site spelled the name Golden Roaster; we use the name from the Play8oy lobby.
All ways and the Gold Symbol bet
The reels are marked ALL WAYS, so matching symbols count on adjacent reels from the left in any row. The bar starts with GOLD SYMBOL, set to 48 here, and with PLAY 1 the total is 48. At the top, an Active Symbols bar shows the rooster, the jade dragon, the silver ingot and the firecrackers. A bowl of gold sits between the Grand, Major, Minor and Mini counters.
That spin paid 20: gold coins on the first three reels, with a purple Fu tile standing in on reel 3 for a second way.
Gold and plain symbols
Each of the four active symbols comes twice. The gold rooster pays 500 for five and the plain one 50, the gold jade 400, the gold ingot 250 and the gold firecrackers 150. The coin pays 100 and the letters 50. The round jade seal is the scatter: four in a row from the left give 15 free games, five give 20.
