Three gold Chinese characters sit over the reels with Emperor Gate written underneath. The old page gave the game a single sentence about playing a fierce leader. The screens show a bit more than that.
Reels and symbols
Five reels of three rows sit on parchment, with 50 numbered line markers split between the two sides. The top bar has BALANCE, BET and WIN, and below it a Minor Jackpot and a Major Jackpot counter. Every screen we have runs at 0.01 a line, 0.50 a spin.
The pictures are a red palace door with brass knockers, a three-legged bronze wine cup, an open scroll of calligraphy, a green character meaning righteousness and a portrait of a young officer. The general in green armour with a long glaive is a tall symbol that takes up all three rows of reel 3. Card symbols run from 9 to A.
